Wondering how your class will be formatted? Here’s a handy guide to the codes listed on your class schedule**:
- LEC: Lecture – “traditional” classes taught 100% in-person, in a physical meeting place as scheduled
- HYB: Hybrid – a course with 25-75% of content offered online (asynchronous); a minimum of 25% face-to-face time for students that happens in-person (not synchronous virtual); classes may be broken into smaller groups
- OL: Online synchronous – no in-person face-to-face contact with instructor; class happens at regularly scheduled time as per spring schedule; all classroom content is online and class meetings are online
- REM: Remote – no in-person face-to-face contact with instructor; class happens at regularly scheduled time as per spring schedule; all classroom content is online and class meetings are online
- OLA: Online asynchronous – no in-person face-to-face contact with instructor; no scheduled class time for meetings, all classroom content is online
